New ground wills break on Wednesday when saddling his first two runners in Yarmouth in the EBF Stallions John Musker Fillies’ Stakes.
The Classic-winning rider-turned-trainer will be represented in the characteristic 10-furlong Listed decoration at the Norfolk monitor by Cnoc An Oir and Snapraeceps.
It’ll be following the pair finished down the field in a Recorded contest at Gowran Park last 33, the second time this season the two stablemates have raced against each other.
O’Brien said:”All these are my initial runners in the track but it’s all about looking to get some black type together and also this race fitted in. They will run.
“They’re both well-bred fillies and so are reaching a level where they want black kind now.
“They both ran nice races last time out and this isn’t quite as competitive as the business they’ve been keeping.
“The trip is slightly farther for both of them but I believe that they ought to be OK over it because they’re just two straightforward fillies.”
Maid For Life has become a model of consistency all year and after finishing second behind the reopposing Gallic on her very first start during the trip at Chelmsford last time outside trainer Charlie Fellowes is convinced the daughter of Nathaniel will turn the tables and also be in the shake up.
Fellowes stated:”She should have probably won last time as she was in front just before the line and also after it just online her head was up.
“She had been carrying a lot of weight that day and we have a large swing in the weights with the one that beat her.
“I needed her into a track she likes to determine if she stays the trip and she’d settled and did everything nicely and I had this race in your mind later.
“She has a bit to find with Fanny Logan but we’re looking at black kind and on ratings she has a good chance to get some.”
One of two runners in the race for John Gosden alongside Fanny Logan, connections of last time out Chelmsford scorer Inference, hope she could build on that success by taking a step up.
Chris Richardson, racing manager to owners Cheveley Park Stud, said:”She is a filly that doesn’t do much at home.
“it’s an opportunity to determine where we stand level-wise together with her and she deserves to take her chance.
“They have had a bit of rain but it hasn’t been too much as she enjoys top of the floor .”
George Scott is excited about giving Moll Davis the opportunity to check her skill at a level that is greater after posting a success at Doncaster last time out.
Scott explained:”She was very unfortunate at Glorious Goodwood and when she’d won that race her form would look very powerful. She’s improving all of the time as we watched in Doncaster.
“I am really looking forward to see how she’s taken the step up in grade. Therefore there is very little concern there ground will be fine for her.
“At this time we don’t have many excellent horses in the yard and she’s head and shoulders above all else and if we’ve got a good one she is it so I’m expecting her to conduct a nice race.”
