Brad Keselowski made his third successive win Sunday in the opening playoff race in Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but a fourth consecutive win seems unlikely as NASCAR heads to Richmond’s brief track for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400.
Richmond is a flat, 3/4-mile track that is quite similar to New Hampshire’s and Phoenix’s flat monitors. Drivers who’ve had success at these monitors have been contenders at Richmond.
NASCAR seen with Phoenix and New Hampshire after each earlier in the season. From the desert, Kevin Harvick took the checkers, but Kyle Busch led the most laps. Harvick also won New Hampshire, but it was Kurt Busch leading the most laps.

Keselowski completed 15th and 32nd at Phoenix and New Hampshire this season, but he has finished 11th or better in the past six races in Richmond. A top-10 appears likely for the No. 2 team, but you will find drivers more healthy for the short-track racing on Saturday.
