I’d composed a year preview on the two groups in August and in the Syracuse preview, I outlined a narrative that revealed the way the Orange would win this match and could hold the conference tie-breaker even if they lost to a different conference foe and Clemson failed to.
This Syracuse fairytale still has life, however there’s simply a chance that the Orange may pull off the highly unlikely upset after the Maryland Terrapins 63-20 crushed the Orange. There’s a high likelihood they cover the spread and cause us some money.
Lawrence hasn’t had a horror start to his year, but it’s been a battle for him. He’s completed 63.8% of his passes for 436 passing yards, but two touchdown passes. DeVito has linked on 10 receptions, 178 getting yards (currently ranks 4th in the ACC), and two touchdowns. He is a great route runner also is 6-1 and 190 lbs with quickness and speed. Expect Jackson to have his best game yet for your Orange.
As much as the Orange lovers would really like to see that the Goliath of the ACC upset, the projections call for the Tigers to dominate this match from start to finish. The Tigers are supposed to score no less than 31 points, can get no less than 6.0 yards-per-attempt, and will acquire no less than 525 total offensive yards. The Orange will be outgained by means of a minimum of 2.0 yards-per-play.
In past games where the Tigers met or exceeded these projections playing a Division-1A opponent, they’ve made an outstanding 14-0 straight-up album winning the games with an average of 41 points and 12-2 against the spread (ATS) covering the spread by an average of 15.7 points.
